Flaming Idols are altar candles featuring inspiring figures of the LGBTQ community, created and handmade by Philadelphia artist and activist Robin Markle. 
Rue Bennett and Jules Vaughn are fictional characters on the TV drama Euphoria, played by Zendaya and Hunter Schaeffer respectively. Rue has an instant attraction to Jules after watching her defend herself from a drunk and violent classmate at a high school party. That night the two bike to Jules' house and begin a close relationship that becomes romantic, though also fraught. Their coupling, dubbed “Rules” by fans, is unique in contemporary tv for showing a queer relationship between a cis girl and a trans girl.
Candle is hand-poured with soy wax and burns for approximately 10 hours. Glass votives are 2.5in high and 2in wide at the base.
