Sarah, Winifred, Mary (Hocus Pocus) glass votive altar candle Sarah, Winifred and Mary Sanderson are fictional characters in the 1993 film Hocus Pocus and its 2022 sequel. While there are many great witches in the world, these three are pretty evil. In their quest to live forever, they kill innocent children and drain them of their life force, using it make themselves young again. In 1693 they are hanged, but they cast a spell that allows them to come back to life. When they do, they terrorize the film’s child protagonists who eventually defeat them. In short, enjoy these characters but don’t try to be like them!
 
Candle is hand-poured with soy wax and burns for approximately 10 hours. Glass votives are 2.5in high and 2in wide at the base. Each votive is affixed with an opaque sticker with an image of a person and on the opposite side, a translucent sticker with biographical information about the person. Stickers are water-resistant.
