Janet Mock is a writer, director and trans advocate. Janet was an established magazine editor when she publicly came out as a trans woman in a 2011 article in Marie Claire. She later published a collection of essays about her life, Redefining Realness, which was a NY Times bestseller. She was a staff writer for the TV show Pose.
